The usual trespassers from under next doors fence are of the unwanted bramble/nettle variety but I noticed this beauty last week.
This aquilegia vulgaris is welcome to stay. Only flowering May till June this herbaceous perennial looks rather frail like my neighbours.
Ssh though please don't tell them I love their plant as they would probably dig it up having not spoken to us for over 6 years !!
P.S Latin lesson for today Vulgaris = Common..
